For nearly two decades, EliTe Solar has been at the forefront of solar energy in the U.S., expertly shaping the industry. With its integrated manufacturing approach, the company manages the entire solar lifecycle from wafer production to module sales backed by a diversified supply chain.

Headquartered in Singapore, EliTe Solar has established a global presence by forging strong partnerships with U.S. businesses. It has delivered over 10 gigawatts of advanced solar technology by driving numerous utility-scale projects and constantly supporting developers, installers and construction companies in advancing solar energy solutions. Bloomberg’s Tier 1 supplier rating since 2012 and its recognition as a top 10 leading manufacturer by Wood Mackenzie highlights EliTe Solar’s commitment to excellence in photovoltaic (PV) modules.
“Our legacy of reliability shines bright as we continue to shape the future of solar energy, paving the way for a sustainable tomorrow,” says Arndt E. Lutz, CEO of EliTe Solar.

End-to-end Supply Chain

EliTe Solar’s long-standing experience has enabled it to establish a sturdy logistics network spanning from manufacturing and shipping to customs clearance and final delivery. This approach is pivotal in fulfilling its commitments on time and within budget.

Recognizing the U.S. market’s emphasis on supply chain transparency and regulatory compliance, EliTe Solar sources 100 percent of its polysilicon and wafers from non Chinese suppliers, ensuring full traceability from material sourcing to manufacturing. Ingot and wafer production are directed to Vietnamese facilities and the cell production is done in Indonesia.

EliTe Solar has expanded its production line by adding N-type modules alongside its established P-type offerings to align with industry trends. Transparency and continuous improvement are the foundational pillars of its product excellence. The company upholds these principles by providing regular updates on shipping status, including customs clearance and transportation, resulting in a growing base of loyal, repeat clients.

Mastering Complex Projects

EliTe Solar’s ability to manage and deliver large-scale projects to distant locations truly makes it a cut above the rest. For instance, the company has shipped 250 megawatts (MW) of solar panels to a secluded area in Utah. This arduous task was facilitated through effective coordination between the client and the construction company, ensuring smooth logistics and timely delivery to the job site. EliTe Solar managed trucking and kept the construction company well-informed about the shipment’s status.

EliTe Solar’s knack for turning potential setbacks into successful deliveries has made it a preferred pick for U.S. based businesses.

The company is actively engaged in a range of projects, with notable efforts including a major Texas installation exceeding 629 MW and an additional project with a 550 MW capacity. Reliable and seamless delivery is a hallmark of the company, reflected in its efficient management of inland and ocean transportation, timely customs clearance and responsive after-sales support, including handling transportation damage and warranty claims.

A Unified Team with Global Insight

Behind EliTe Solar’s service excellence is a core team of logistics and back-office professionals comprising American and multi-lingual staff based in Asia. This blend of linguistic and cultural expertise enhances the efficiency of managing logistics and manufacturing operations. The logistic team maintains long-standing relationships with trucking and logistics companies in the U.S. that facilitate the shipping process to various ports like Houston, Los Angeles or East Coast ports. As part of upholding ESG commitments, the company uses electric trucks to reduce carbon footprint for clients and the company alike.

At times, when job sites experience delays, the company also offers warehouses to store products.

“We foster a close-knit and family-like atmosphere by embracing an inclusive workspace where transparency and mutual support is encouraged. This helped us to effectively bridge the gap between our Asian headquarters and U.S operations for nearly 20 years,” claims Alex Chen, general manager of EliTe Solar.

Expanding Horizons with Social Impact

EliTe Solar is preparing to expand its footprint in the Middle East in addition to the Southeast Asia market.

It also emphasizes bringing a positive societal impact beyond offering top-notch products and delivering complex projects. For example, the company partnered with Boise State University and the College of Western Idaho, funding $30,000 to support scholarships. This initiative is dedicated to preparing the next generation of professionals in the industry for a more sustainable future. The main goal is to “power the future” through cost-effective and renewable solar energy solutions for commercial, utility and industrial clients.

Taking forward the mission of advancing solar energy, EliTe Solar is exploring opportunities to develop manufacturing facilities in the U.S. for solar cell production—a sector where domestic capacity is currently limited.

“This initiative aligns with our strategy to support the U.S. economy, create jobs and provide our clients with a more reliable and stable supply chain,” adds Chen.
